but I am having trouble finding a frame this large and this shape.....anyone have any ideas? I would be forever grateful if you pointed me in the right direction.

Weekend Fun....

I taught my last local class before the baby is born on Saturday night and had a great time. I had several brain lapses throughout the night but everyone was super understanding and had a great time (at least I think they did!) Here is a little taste of what we did:

How can you go wrong using all of this fun Ranger product? It was messy but worth it.

We did a technique flip book and then using the techniques we learned we made a travel journal with the Heidi Swapp World Traveler Line. I do believe my favorite page of the night was the one in the middle left above....the one using the ornate frame Invisibles paper. So much fun to use!

M.I.A....

Do you ever just feel like life is whizzing past you and you aren't sure how to stop it? That you are just basically missing in action? That is how I feel right now. I can't seem to muster up the energy to actually do anything and when I do I usually fritter it away on the wrong thing like purging/rearranging the junk drawer in the kitchen....because really, at the time, it seemed super important.  

I am trying to get back on track since as of today I have only 4 weeks until this baby gets here and I am not ready by any stretch of the imagination. We have bought two things for her and that is it. So I had better kick it into gear and figure this all out. I promise I am going to try to do better! :)

Now...moving on to people who have been way more productive than I have....did you see these and these kits for the 4th of July? And free blog couture to boot?!?!

I mean the sparkler tags alone made me giddy and then I saw the popcorn bags....made me smile and I went in my studio immediately and printed them out, now all I have to do is call my husband and have him pick up the sparklers....see, it is making me more productive as well!

My plan is to make my garland tonight.....Rhonna put up a tutorial on how she made this one at Inspiration House if you are in need of a few tips and tricks!

Had a fun time with this notepad...to read all about Heidi and Rhonna's project as well go here.

We had a fun weekend with Mckinley turning 6...she had a great party and was so excited with all of her presents. I think this is really the first year she really stopped and enjoyed the presents instead of the frenzy of just opening stuff!

Can't believe how big she is getting!

seriously, I blinked and five days have passed....how does this happen and where does  the time go?

Ok...so back to business. Have you been following along with us?

We have been having a great time with this project and giving how-to's, technique and inspiration each day over at the HOF3 inspiration house blog. I loved the one that Rhonna put up today about the magnets, it was one of my favorite parts of the board. (It's the little things that make me happy! :)
